Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin will temporarily suspend the operation of Bitcoin and Litecoin mining pools from August 15, 2023 until further notice.
The exchange announced that the decision is in line with the company’s business strategy.
“In order to ensure uninterrupted earnings during our temporary shutdown, we recommend users who mine cryptocurrency to switch their equipment to alternative mining pools before 16:00:00 on August 15, 2023,” KuCoin said in an official statement.
To ensure the integrity and safety of data, the KuCoin team recommends that users back up and protect mining records and related data until August 27, 2023:
“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause, thanking you for your support and understanding.
” Earlier, the cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin officially denied rumors about the upcoming dismissal of about 30% of its employees. KuCoin assured that hiring staff, like any potential layoffs, is a normal organizational process.
