Developers Shiba Inu have entered into an agreement with the American visualization studio The Third Floor to create the virtual world of SHIB: The Metaverse Project.
The stage operates in entertainment, film, television, video games, and virtual and augmented reality. For 17 years, The Third Floor has collaborated with renowned directors and designers. The company has been involved in the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, Dune, and Avatar. The Third Floor’s client base includes Disney, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Marvel Studios, Apple TV+, Disney+, Sony Pictures, 21st Century Fox, Warner Bros, Universal Studios.
The Third Floor will apply its skills to create the Shiba Inu metaverse, and the use of the Unreal Engine game engine will bring the ideas of the Shiba Inu developers to three-dimensional space. According to the developers, the SHIB: The Metaverse project should be the culmination of the history of the Shiba Inu community. Users will be able to accumulate their experience, explore and collect game resources, receive rewards and interact with other people. They will have a private space where people can create and manage their own projects.
“The Metaverse opens up new possibilities for creating vibrant visual worlds, and we are excited to partner with the Shiba Inu team to innovate in this space. Thanks to the creative vision of ShibArmy and our artists’ commitment to excellence, we will be able to visualize collaborative ideas in a way that makes the digital world feel real,” said Dane Smith, strategic director of The Third Floor.
In early July, SHIB lead developer Shytoshi Kusama announced the project’s plans to launch the SHI stablecoin and TREAT reward token to be used in the metaverse.
