Burger King diners in Brazil had the opportunity to buy their dogs Grilled Meat Flavored Dogpper Cookies and pay for them with DOGE.
According to regional media reports, the Burger King franchise in Brazil has introduced a new type of food specifically made for dogs called Dogpper. The new product is grilled meat-flavored dog biscuits. Dog owners can buy it for their pets along with their order. The company accepts payments in Dogecoin for Dogpper purchases.
“We know that enjoying a burger in the quiet and comfort of your home is no easy task for owners who truly love their pet,” writes Burger King Brazil. “But how can we blame them for this? After all, the smell of grilled meat spreads far and excites him. ”
To buy a Dogpper, a customer must check for a dog cookie, then select a quantity and proceed to checkout. Dogpper costs 3 DOGE (about 45 rubles). After completing the form, the client transfers the cryptocurrency to the Burger King Brazil wallet.
Dogpper can be purchased using the BK Delivery, Ifood, Rappi, Uber Eats and 99 Food mobile apps. If the customer does not have Dogecoin, he can buy a cookie for his pet with Brazilian Real (BRL).
A portion of the proceeds from Dogpper’s sales will go to Petlove, an animal welfare non-governmental organization.
