The RippleX company, which develops for the Ripple ecosystem, is preparing the first browser-based wallet to work with the XRP Ledger blockchain. It was named Crossmark.
It is reported that Crossmark will allow you to quickly and easily sign transactions on the XRP Ledger network and switch between networks. When developing, the specialists focused on the most popular wallet for Ethereum MetaMask.
The developers emphasized that they have integrated into Crossmark functions similar to MetaMask, but specially adapted for the XRP Ledger. This will allow users to more easily manage transactions with their XRP and interact with decentralized applications.
Moreover, according to RippleX, developers creating dApps have been asking for a browser version of the wallet for a long time and, as they migrate from Ethereum, the demand is growing.
The wallet keys will be securely stored on the user’s local machine. Testing of the application began in mid-April with selected projects, but no release date has yet been announced. Ripple recently received a digital asset license in Singapore.
